The Rose, White and Blue Parade and Festival in San Jose, California is a revival of the historic Rose Carnival of 1896, later known as The Fiesta de Las Rosas Parade in the 1920′s. Gilroy Garlic Festival – The festival with near legendary foodie status runs July 26 – 28. Three stages of continuous music, a variety of offerings from over 60 food vendors, Gourmet Alley’s culinary garlic delights, a Children’s area and Teen Zone, and over 90 artisans with handcrafted wares is sure to make this 35th Annual Gilroy Garlic Festival one fabulous time. San Jose Jazz Summer Fest – The biggest live music event in Silicon Valley brings three days unprecedented musical talent to San Jose on August 9 -11. The 12-stage, 3-day extravaganza featuring a wide range of international stars, emerging artists and regional favorites playing straight-ahead jazz, blues, salsa, Latin, R&B, and more.
